The Location
Chateau Plombis is a stunning 18th century chateau nestled in the Quercy Blanc region of France. It sits just to the North of the village of Castelsagrat, a beautiful medieval village known for its quaint charm and wonderful seasonal produce. Castelsagrat is only a short walk away, and offers a bar, restaurant, grocery store, post office and hairdresser. The Chateau is also situated near Valence d’Agen, Moissac and Lauzerte, and is only 30-minutes away from Agen.
There are lots of activities in the local area, including horse riding, adventure activities, water sports and two golf courses. This means that you can make the most of your stay and take in some of what the local culture has to offer.
The Accommodation
Chateau Plombis comfortable sleeps 19 people in five bedrooms, one triple room, one double and one dormitory style room. All of the bedrooms are light, airy, and blend modern and contemporary decor. There are also a number of modern bathrooms throughout the Chateau.
The Chateau is also available for exclusive hire, leaving you and your guests to party the night away in complete privacy. The Amenities
The Chateau boasts a number of relaxing areas, including a variety of lounging and reception rooms, as well as a large kitchen and dining room. You and your guests will also be able to enjoy the cosy billiards room with its traditional French billiards and large fireplace. There are a variety of modern entertainment and music systems for you and your guests to use throughout your stay. And outside, you can take advantage of the swimming pool, tennis courts and available lawn games for a full weekend of fun activities.
The Grounds
The beautifully maintained grounds make Chateau Plombis the perfect option for a French Chateau wedding. You and your guests are free to wander through the 60 acres of meadows, woodlands, orchards and gardens. You'll be especially impressed with the Chateau's famous 'lavender walk.'
This also makes the Chateau perfect for beautiful and memorable wedding photography. Our couples and their wedding photographers always take a romantic walk around the grounds to capture some beautiful natural shots during the 'golden hour'. You'll be sure to take some wedding photos that are as perfect as the day itself!
