The Venue

Nissa and Nick's Fairy Tale wedding was another of our favourite weddings to plan and execute. This wonderful Australian couple trusted us to plan their dream destination wedding back in 2016.

The couple wanted the perfect Fairy Tale wedding venue - a venue that would be as beautiful as the day itself. And when they visited Chateau de Lisse, they instantly fell in love with it.

Nissa and Nick were awed by the stunning Chateau, its grounds, deer park and facilities. They were particularly thrilled with the view from the terrace of the French countryside, which they said would be the perfect backdrop for their summer Fairy Tale Wedding.

The Ceremony

Nissa and Nick wanted the ceremony to be close and intimate. So, they invited only their very closest friends and family. The ceremony itself took place in the Chateau’s stunning 12th century chapel.

As the chapel is such a beautiful building, it does not need much decorating. So, we dressed the building with some simple, white chairs and some white flowers at the end of each row. We also used candle light to enhance the natural beauty of the chapel.

Fairy Tale Wedding Planning

As Nissa and Nick were from Australia, at first they were a little worried that it would be difficult to plan a wedding from such a distance! However, at The Impeccable Pear, we’re used to planning destination weddings for our couples.

Fairy Tale Wedding Bride and Groom

There were lots of Skypes and phone calls so the couple were able to stay involved in all the decision-making. But really, The Impeccable Pear guarantee is that we take care of everything behind the scenes! We kept the couple involved with all of the big decisions, and worked around the clock to take care of all the smaller details. - Leaving them to have a completely stress-free wedding day.

The Wedding Breakfast

The guests enjoyed cocktails al fresco on the Chateau lawn and terrace. We strung up some beautiful fairy lights on the lawn to create a warm and cosy Fairy Tale atmosphere, which the guests really enjoyed.

The wedding breakfast took place inside the Chateau's impressive dining room. And as a sentimental touch, the bride had brought her own table linen, which we arranged with a simple and elegant table design. The guests were in high spirits, enjoying lots of champagne and food served by our very own Le Chef Impeccable.
